I search high and low for a recipe that would be as close to Starbucks wonderful gingerloaf and this is what I came up with . I read many other recipes and a lot were missing the basics from the ingredient list this is the closet to theirs that I have came up with I hope you all enjoy �� first time submitter long time follower

Ingredients
  

  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2-3/4 cup candied ginger (homemade)
  • 1 teaspoon orange extract (or juice )
  • 1/2 teaspoon both lemon and vanilla extract
  • 1 cup apple butter
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 2 cups icing sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon lemon extract
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon orange juice

Instructions
 

  • Start with butter and sugar then add the egg Beat Ingredients in a stand mixer mix until light and fluffy then add remaining wet ingredients. Mix dry ingredients together and whisk then add dry ingredients to wet ingredients in until just combined , don’t over mix it will cause tough bread ❤️Batter will be really thick don’t worry :) bake at350 for 50-60 mins and let cool completely before frosting.
